Harbor View sits on a steep, rainy and dark coastline. Where the bay narrows before opening into the unpredictable seas. The upper streets resident’s view is fishing boats, cargo cranes and the dark grey water.
A historic waterfront town that holds onto every memory.
The town was founded around the natural harbor, a fishing village, then as a shipping and ship building center. With the shipyard closing Harbor View began to fade into prosperity. The town never fully collapsed nor did it fully recover. The town survives on tourism, the marina, a ferry route and founding families that are still in town.
At night, Harbor View becomes more secretive. The water reflects the yellow lights of the marina, fog blurs the far shore and the old lighthouse beam passes over town every few seconds like a watchful eye.
