If you have been here since the very limited beginning; thank you. I have decided to rebrand Quiet Harbor Writing to Ash and Ink. This has been an idea I have had for quite awhile. I enjoy writing, music, books and being at home with my animals. This little corner of the internet will be a creative outlet for me. I will be sharing upcoming projects.

Harbor View

Harbor View is a fictional town that is part of my debut novel Home Base. While I work on my novel I am also world building. I find it is easier to connect with the story this way. I will be sharing character stories, town history, and a monthly “Newspaper” the first edition will not be out until the new year so I can keep a better schedule.

Harbor View is inspired by Ocean Shores, WA. Ocean Shores has been close to my heart for over 15 years now. There is a certain amount of peace that comes with being by the ocean. If I could spend my life next to the beach I would. I have yet to decide where exactly my first novel is going; but I am having a great time figuring it out.

Book Reviews

I will be posting book reviews as I have been on a reading frenzy lately. I have completed 11 books since September. I am excited to share some of the authors I have been reading. One of my favorite things to do is tell someone about literature.

A lot of my posting will be a little random depending on what is on my mind for the week.
